Stir fried cabbage with oyster sauce

When I was young my grandma always put meat or prawns into every stir fried vegetable dishes and most of the time we only eat the vegetables. The meat or prawns always ended up in the dog’s bowl. Nowadays I like to make simple stir fried vegetables so that we can enjoy the true flavours of the vegetables.

Ingredients


½ a white cabbage
Oyster sauce




Cut the cabbage into bite size pieces





Heat up a little oil and fry some chopped garlic and salt
Add the cabbage and mix well with the oil




Add 2 tbsp oyster sauce and mix well
Add a little water to prevent it burning




Season with pepper and a little sugar and mix thoroughly
Dish up and serve
