Air fried chicken wings

We all love fried chicken wings but I don’t like the smell and the amount of grease all over the kitchen. The air fryer is wonderful because there is minimal oil on the chicken and no greasy kitchen to clean up.

Ingredients



6 chicken wings cut into 2 pieces

½ packet chicken coating flour




Season the chicken with a little salt and pepper
Leave for 30 minutes to 1 hour




Add the coating flour just before frying





Mix until all the chicken are covered with the flour





Put a little oil onto the chicken and mix thoroughly





Put half the chicken pieces into the air fryer





Set the timer for 12 minutes




Shake the basket every 3 minutes to make sure that the chicken is fried evenly
Add more cooking time if the chicken is not brown enough
Remove and keep aside once it is done




Put in the balance of the chicken and cook the same way





Once it is done remove and add to the previous batch
