Stir fried tomatoes

Most children don’t like eating raw tomatoes but somehow they love eating tomatoes cooked this way.

Tomatoes are members of the fruit family, but they are served and prepared as a vegetable. This is why most people consider them a vegetable and not a fruit. Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C and a good source of vitamin A. Choose plump tomatoes with smooth skins that are free from bruises, cracks, or blemishes. Depending on the variety, ripe tomatoes should be completely red or reddish-orange.
Ingredients

2 tomatoes
½ big onions
Minced pork or chicken
Minced garlic
½ tsp sugar

Marinate the meat with:
½ tsp soy sauce
½ tsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper

Halve the tomatoes and cut into fairly thick slices

Fry the minced garlic until fragrant and add the meat

When the meat is brown add the onions and stir until it is lightly opaque in colour

Put in the tomatoes and ½ tsp sugar
Mix thoroughly
Do not overcook the tomatoes
