Last week, I suddenly had
a craving for stir fried green chillies which I have not eaten for a very long
time so I decided to pamper myself. It is so delicious eaten with plain white
porridge (congee).
Ingredients
Green chillies
Taucu (bean) paste
Wash and deseed the
chillies
Cut the chillies into bite
size pieces
Heat up a little oil and
fry some chopped garlic until slightly brown.
Put in about 2 tbsp taucu
paste and mix well with the garlic.
Use low fire so that the taucu
paste does not burn and stir for about 30 seconds
Put in the cut chillies
and mix well.
Add a little water at a
time and stir until the chillies are soft.
When the chillies are soft
you can throw in some fried pork lard (optional).
Dish up and serve.
